Anaqor is accepted to QAI Ventures Startup Accelerator

Anaqor is thrilled to announce that it has successfully been accepted into the Accelerator Program of QAI Ventures, marking a significant achievement for the young quantum software company that offers the first open community-powered platform and ecosystem for quantum applications based in Europe.

The Swiss company QAI Ventures is a pioneering organization in the field of quantum startup funding, embedded in the eco system of QuantumBasel. It offers not only a venture capital fund but also a startup accelerator that provides access to both quantum hardware and software resources, financial support, tailored one-on-one mentoring, and an internationally connected network of industry and research professionals.

Anaqor Co-founder and COO David Niehaus shared his enthusiasm about the program, “Being chosen for the QAI Ventures Startup Accelerator reinforces our belief, which we have held for more than three years, that there is a concrete need for solutions that make quantum applications profitable and accessible for players across the quantum value chain. Seeing that this idea captures the interest of investors, is a great validation of our team’s efforts.”

The support will benefit Anaqor’s continued work on the PlanQK platform that emerged in 2019 from an initiative by partners from business and academia. PlanQK offers the technological foundation that empowers quantum developers to craft and successfully market their solutions, while also offering industry users readily available quantum services. To the present day, PlanQK has found international support by more than 100 organizations across sectors and offers a wide array of algorithms and quantum computing resources, all crafted by a distinguished community of experts and partners.
